Kim cared for my son from age 1 to age 3. Kim has many strengths that come from her many years of experience (far too many to list) but among her skills are her ability to provide a consistent environment and her extremely calm demeanor. Kim has an amazing ability to discipline children without raising her voice or without often resorting to consequences. She simply gives the range under which the children can "operate" and never waivers. This not only makes for children who happily stay within those confines, but it gives them a strong sense of security as they always know what to expect. She has a way of maintaining her "cool" despite the challenges that running a home daycare undoubtedly bring.

My son always enjoyed going to Kim's and speaks very highly of her. Now that he is older and more verbal, in his genuine three-year-old fashion, he explained that he "loves going to Kim's house".
